Transactional Officer - Payroll




Worcester based with a balance of home and office working




27,315 per year




35 hours per week




Temporary position for up to 12 months




We have an opportunity for a Transactional Officer - Payroll to join our Payroll Transactional team, based in Worcester. The team is responsible for processing all transactional employee and pay elements for employee pay records. Processes to include, new starters, contractual changes, leavers, completing contractual paperwork and answering employee queries which are received via a ticketing service.


The role of Transactional Officer - Payroll will include:




Assist in maintenance of payroll records ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to financial controls in order to ensure regulatory, contractual and statutory requirements are met Work with wider teams to understand any contractual items, and process accurately to ensure employee records are compliant and accurate Assist in the development of payroll administration and processes to provide efficient, customer focused services across the Group Follow correct processes, governance and compliance to ensure controls are in place

Skills and experiences:




Experience of administration processes relating to Payroll Excellent attention to detail Good organisational, time management and planning skills Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads Excellent interpersonal and transactional skills Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
