We are seeking an organised Transport Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating schedules and loads, liaising with drivers and external contacts, and managing all related paperwork and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, handling customer inquiries, and assisting with general administrative duties to support the transport and logistics operation. Duties
Coordinate and arrange transport schedules, routes, and loads for timely delivery
Liaise with drivers and customers to address inquiries and quotes, provide updates, and resolve issues
Handle and maintain transport-related paperwork, such as delivery records, proof of delivery, and vehicle maintenance documents
Perform general office tasks, including data entry, answering calls, replying to emails and supporting other administrative duties as needed
Ensuring the office environment remains organised and well-maintained
Experience
Proven office experience and logistics experience is essential
Proficiency in computer skills is essential including Google Drive applications Google Sheets and Google Docs.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
