All About the Role

We have a new opening available for an experienced Transport Administrator based at our BCP Omega Scunthorpe site, in this new role you will help to fully support the transport team, offering full administrative support. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8 am to 4pm, 30 minutes for lunch. 37.5 hours per week


Specific tasks could include:

Full administrative support to the transport team this may include helping to deliver the Daily Transport Load Plan for site in the most cost-effective way. To support the team with vehicle maintenance requirements to meet statutory regulations including Servicing, Plating, MOT, Road Tax. Help to monitor / regulate/report driver hours to comply with legislation Liaise with drivers, Sales and production on day-to-day operations and be the point of contact for any issues from an administrative capacity Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to All related administration/paperwork & compliance.

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.

Experience as a Transport Administrator in a logistics or steel business in the UK Pro-active & tenacious attitude & approach to problem solving. Excellent communication skills with good computer, administration & numerical skills. Exceptional customer service both internal & external. One team mindset
