Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a

Compliance & Transport Advisor

to join our team in

Sherburn,

supporting our shared user site. The successful candidate will champion the GXO values in the management and communication of safety, compliance and loss prevention issues for the site's transport operations

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working

Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:30.

We do require flexibility on some occasions, this is logistics after all.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to

38,000.00 per annum

and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:



Supporting the QHSE Manager, ensuring all transport related safety, compliance and loss prevention matters are dealt with in line with legislation and best practice. Support the Transport Manager in ensuring all their legal and company compliance tasks are complete and to the correct standard. Review Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work for all tasks carried out within the transport operation. Provide regular reports to the Leadership team across the Sherburn site


What you need to succeed at GXO:



Previous experience in a transport compliance role, ideally within a fast-paced logistics environment Strong working knowledge of transport compliance & regulations The ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels along with a results and success-driven approach focusing on identifying and sharing best practice
