Blackpool Council is seeking a proactive and organised Transport Coordinator to join our Integrated Transport Team based at Layton Depot within Community & Environmental Services.
This is a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of transport services for children eligible for home-to-school transport and adults accessing social care services.
You'll also oversee the school crossing patrol service and the Rideability community transport service, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and promoting service quality that supports the independence and wellbeing of our service users.
This is an exceptionally busy service and we are looking for someone who thrives in a busy operational environment, and who can be effective within considerable levels of work related pressure from deadlines and interruptions.
