The Role:

The Transport Coordinator will be Supervising drivers dealing with UK road haulage mainly to and from ports.
The Transport Coordinator will ensure the team will effectively plan vehicle routes by fully utilising own vehicles to the required levels of customer service, whilst also adhering to Drivers hours legislation and maintenance requirements.
The Transport Coordinator will issue drivers with clear instruction and react to any changing situation
Manage vehicle routing processes at minimum cost to successfully deliver customer requirements
Transport technical and operational knowledge and experience; experience and ability to manage a large team of drivers in a fast-moving operational environment.

Requirements:

Experience with UK Road Transport
Experience with HGVs
Experience with Drivers
