Transport Coordinator

Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to join the UK Transport Team based in Lutterworth. The shift pattern for this position will be 10:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday. Public transport is limited during these times.
How you will contribute
- Uploading order files & planning routes according to set parameters to ensure goods are delivered on time & in a cost-effective manner.
- Communicate with external carrier partners ensuring loads are allocated in a timely manner to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
- Interaction with drivers in issuing delivery paperwork whilst ensuring any additional delivery requirements are conveyed concisely.
- Communicate with syncreon Control Tower in relation to distressed orders whilst identifying any delivery conflicts on orders that are due to be planned for delivery.
- Liaise with the warehouse operations team regarding order queries.
- Responsible for maintaining & uploading POD documents in a timely manner. Proactively chasing carrier partners to ensure missing documents are received in line with customer SLA.
- Strong office administration skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, preferably experience of Microsoft Access.
- Professional, accurate and precise, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
