Lead UK-wide transport performance and improvement strategies focusing on cost, service, safety, people, and operational effectiveness
Drive adoption and optimisation of the Transport Management System, championing system-led best practices
Own the national trip execution performance model, ensuring accountability, reporting cadence, and corrective action governance
Design and govern performance frameworks and KPIs to align spending, activity forecasts, and business priorities
Lead national improvement projects while supporting local leaders to deliver initiatives aligned with functional strategy
Partner with Regional Transport Managers to embed sustainable improvements through coaching, data insights, and engagement
What makes you great
You shall possess experience steering performance for a national logistics operation
You will hold demonstrable transformation experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS)
You have defined and governed KPIs and performance frameworks
A passion for harnessing data to inform decisions and drive improvement
You have a demonstrable track record of delivering successful service, safety, and efficiency initiatives
You enjoy enabling others through coaching and empowerment
