Are you an experienced Transport Coordinator? This is an opportunity to join a dynamic 3PL logistics team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in transport operations and customer service, looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.
As part of a six-person team and reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing all customer service functions related to transport operations.
In this fast-paced environment, your efficiency and ability to manage tasks effectively under tight deadlines will be essential to maintaining smooth operations.
The role primarily involves managing delivery inquiries via internal systems and online platforms, securing proof of deliveries (PODs), handling and escalating complaints as needed, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues promptly, monitoring stock levels against orders, and generating reports.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all customer service activities related to transport and logistics.
Track and resolve delivery queries using internal systems and online platforms.
Obtain and manage Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure swift resolution of service issues.
Monitor stock levels against order volumes to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment.
Prepare detailed reports using Excel and other tools to support operational insights.
Maintain strong communication with a diverse client base, including private individuals and corporate clients.
Requirements
Pallet Network experience.
Proven experience in logistics, transport coordination, or supply chain management.
Familiarity with 3PL operations is highly desirable.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Excel and transport management systems.
Own transport preferable (nearest bus stop = 1 mile)
