Job Description

MaSiso Ltd is a transport company based in Milton Keynes with excellent growth opportunities. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager (CPC qualified) to oversee our expanding logistics operations. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively coordinate a team while utilizing various IT systems (TruTac, TruFleet, TruChecks, and Amazon Relay App for carriers) to optimize transport operations. A Class 1 CE license is essential, as you will be involved in presenting for PMIs and breakdowns and providing cover where applicable.

Responsibilities



- Manage and supervise the transport team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Oversee the maintenance and operation of transport vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

- Lead and manage daily logistics operations for a fleet of 10 trucks, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal vehicle utilization.

- Ensure full compliance with all transport regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies.

- Manage and motivate a team of drivers and support staff, fostering a performance-driven culture.

- Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure fleet reliability and minimize downtime.

- Support the smooth running of transport operations, ensuring vehicles and drivers comply with all legal regulations.

- Maintain vehicle files, conduct tachometer checks, and ensure adherence to transport regulations and Goods Vehicle Operator Licence requirements.

- Organize schedules, routes, and loads, ensuring maximum efficiency while maintaining high service levels.

- Provide training, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their skills in driving, logistics, and customer service.

- Oversee fuel consumption, tyre usage, and driving standards to optimize cost efficiency and compliance.

- Engage with stakeholders and proactively resolve issues.

Experience



- Proven experience in a management role within the transport or logistics sector.

- Strong understanding of transport regulations;

familiarity with the Amazon Freight Network and Amazon Relay is a plus.



- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential for reporting and data management.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.



- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Computer literacy to navigate various IT systems efficiently.

- Good geographical knowledge and understanding of route planning.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.

- Competency in transport regulations; holding a CPC qualification (National/International).

- Full UK Driving Licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 38,000.00-43,000.00 per year
