Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and a deep understanding of driving logistics, ensuring efficient transportation processes while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills to lead a team effectively and optimise our transport operations.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all transport activities. Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency. Oversee the maintenance and operation of the fleet, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while fostering a culture of safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in transport management or a similar role within logistics or supply chain environments. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail. Computer literacy is essential; familiarity with IT systems related to transport management is advantageous. Excellent understanding of Tachographs and uploading and managing the data. A valid driving licence is preferred.
