Job Description
Ashvale Haulage are part of the M O'Brien Group of Companies. We run a fleet of 8 wheel Tippers & Grabs and are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee and enhance our transport compliance. You will be responsible for managing the compliance of drivers, vehicles and ensuring all O-Licence conditions are met and up to date with regulations. Having worked in the Construction industry previously would be beneficial
Duties
Ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations, operator licencing conditions, driver hours and tachograph rules, and all relevant transport legislation. Manage all aspects of fleet maintenance including inspections, servicing, MOT's and defect reporting Overseeing training, performance monitoring and Monitor fuel usage, Maintain accurate transport records including vehicle files, driver logs, maintenance schedules and incident reports.
