Experienced Traffic (Transport) Planner

Due to continued customer growth, we need to grow our traffic team. This is an opportunity for an experienced traffic planner to join our flatbed traffic team. You can be part of a fast-paced modern traffic office, with an established customer base that includes the UKs leading timber and precast producers.

Job description

Planning flatbed arctics collecting and delivering goods across the UK, Monday to Friday, on behalf of our customers, effectively communicating with drivers and customers to make sure deliveries are made on time every day, safely and efficiently.

Full knowledge of HGV driving hours and working time directive, great customer skills, positive attitude, proactive problem-solving skills.

Communicating positively with customers and drivers Planning drivers and vehicles efficiently, adapting to varying levels of customer demand Supporting our customers and drivers Solving customer, vehicle and driver challenges Navigating and understanding the fleet telematic system Inputting load information to the transport management system
This is a Monday to Friday fulltime position based at our Lockerbie office. There are two shift time options available 8am to 5pm or 10am to 7pm.
