Transport Team Leader

to help us keep everything running smoothly.

The Role

As a

Transport Team Leader

, you'll be supporting the day-to-day running of our transport operation, working alongside the Transport Supervisor and driver team. You'll help make sure everything is compliant, efficient, and running safely -- from vehicle checks and driver briefings to customer service and delivery performance.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting and supervising drivers to ensure safe and compliant deliveries. Following

GDP

and

MHRA

standards to protect product quality. Helping manage schedules, rotas, and team performance. Leading by example and promoting a strong safety culture. Communicating clearly with the team and other departments. Handling driver debriefs and resolving any operational issues quickly. Helping with absence, holidays, and day-to-day team management.

What We're Looking For

We're after someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys being hands-on, organised, and part of a busy team.

You'll need to:

Be flexible and happy to work extra hours when needed. Stay calm and make good decisions under pressure. Communicate clearly and confidently with people at all levels. Motivate and support others with a positive attitude. Be reliable, organised, and proactive.

It'd be great if you also have:

Knowledge of transport operations and driver compliance. Good IT and admin skills. Experience leading or supervising a team in a logistics setting.
