We are looking for a talented

Transportation Administrator

to join our team, specialising in

Logistics

for the

Transportation Department

in

Huddersfield, United Kingdom

.


This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours Mon - Fri 8am - 4.30pm


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


Drive Operational Excellence by maintaining daily KPIs that ensure smooth logistics and administrative performance. Streamline Logistics through effective coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, reducing delays and improving accuracy. Enhance Stakeholder Collaboration by working closely with internal teams and external partners to align on goals and resolve issues quickly. Ensure Export Compliance by preparing accurate export documentation, supporting regulatory adherence and timely deliveries. Support Process Improvements by identifying and contributing to projects that enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Deliver Reliable Administrative Support by managing data entry, document preparation, and reporting with precision. Enable Informed Decision-Making through research and statistical reporting that supports departmental planning and execution. Represent the Team Professionally by handling inquiries, scheduling, and correspondence that reflect the department's values and responsiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES




To be successful in this role, you will need the following:


Strong Communication Skills to effectively interact with diverse audiences and convey information clearly. Customer-Centric Mindset to build trust and deliver solutions that meet internal and external stakeholder needs. Accountability and Initiative to take ownership of tasks and follow through on commitments with urgency and energy. Data Fluency to interpret and present data insights using tools like spreadsheets, dashboards, or reports.

QUALIFICATIONS




Education/Experience:


High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Some prior work experience or intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job exposure is expected, especially in administrative support, logistics coordination, or data handling.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
