The Travel Concierge will be responsible for ensuring guests have an amazing travel experience while in Scotland.
Before their tour the Travel Concierge will help plan itineraries for customers of Kosher Scotland and book hotels, entertainment, and transport according to the individual itinerary created by our Travel Planning team.
The Travel Concierge will communicate with guests from time of booking until arrival in Scotland and will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of their trip. This could include; airport meet & greets, driving clients to destinations, food & beverage delivery, accompanying clients on tours and giving tours on occasion.
Our ideal Travel Concierge has strong customer service skills, a high-level of interpersonal communication and can work individually or as part of a team. We are looking for someone who has a demonstrated record of problem solving, working to deadlines, and being in a fast-paced client facing environment.
You don't need to have any previous experience as a Tour Guide in Scotland but should be passionate about the country and willing to learn.
What does the Travel Concierge do?
Make clients feel taken care of from their first enquiry to Kosher Scotland until their trip finishes. Communicate via whatsapp or gmail and respond to all questions as soon as possible.

Conducting research and contacting vendors. Conducting site inspections and relationship building with the vendors and maintaining up to date spreadsheets with their information.

Assist with building and planning trip itineraries and take the lead on booking upcoming trips.
Necessary skills: Creative thinking, interpersonal skills, organisation skills.
Helping to run trips, from the arrival of the group in Scotland until departure. Ensuring each trip schedule goes to plan, all vendors provide services as required and resolving any issues.
Necessary skills: Supply chain management, interpersonal skills, time management.
Other necessary requirements:
Full driving licence
High level of spoken and written English
Important tasks the Travel Concierge will be responsible for include:
Sales Support
Dealing with client's request and changes (whatsapp/gmail)
Keeping up to date with Trip Calendar and helping with requests as necessary (Google Sheets)
Communicating with clients after trip is booked and ensuring they feel taken care of
Ensuring all checklists are followed regarding new trips
Travel Concierge Duties -
Bookings, Vendor Management, Itinerary Planning
Creating relationships with new vendors (gmail)
Managing and updating vendor database (Google Sheets)
Researching hotels and entertainment options (Google)
Updating and planning itineraries (EZUS)
Following for new private Trips
Updating Vendor Database with new content/vendors (Google Drive)
Booking hotels, entertainment and transport for client trips (Gmail)
Communicating with clients from point of booking trip until arrival (Gmail)
Logistics -
Accompany clients on tours (either walking tours or driving)
Giving tours on occasion, this will mainly be general nature or city tours and not specific location tours
Helping our Head Chef manage and coordinate preparing food for our clients' tour
Checking in on clients periodically throughout the trip
Getting feedback and reviews during and after the trip
Ensuring any problems clients bring up in tour are solved
Travel Concierge will occasionally be asked to do other tasks to help the company as required.
