This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our?growing Travel Operations team. Reporting into the Senior Travel Operations Manager and working closely with our Travel Sales Specialists, this dynamic role leads the end-to-end operational delivery of our clients' trips and supports the Senior Travel Operations Manager in the delivery of continuous improvements to our operational efficiency and effectiveness. As we grow, this role will also be responsible for managing an operations assistant.

Importantly, you will have a positive 'can-do' attitude, be a supportive team player and contribute to our positive company culture and to our ongoing exciting programme of continuous improvement.
This role requires a high level of organisation, proactive communication, attention to detail, and an ability to multitask and thrive under pressure. Travel experience is desirable, however a passion for travel is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the end-to-end operational delivery of our clients' trips, working closely with our team of Travel Sales Specialists, key suppliers, content writers and the client directly.
Proactive management of your 'case load', with the ability to articulate clearly the status of each trip and manage the priorities effectively within clear timelines for delivery. Ownership and management of your own performance dashboard and delivery against key personal and team KPI's (e.g. delivery of final itinerary 14 weeks prior to departure)
Lead key operational development and improvement projects on behalf of (and with guidance from) the Senior Travel Operations Manager.
Work with Travel Specialists and Finance to ensure cost effective trip management (as per original pricing model) and ensure that any changes are recorded and fed back to ensure continuous improvement in the accuracy of pricing models.
Proactively suggesting operational improvements, defining 'best practice' and ensuring that all changes are incorporated in process maps and standard operating procedures (SOP) and kept up to date
Working with the content specialists, ensure the timely production, accuracy and delivery of client's bespoke itineraries.
Working with the Senior Travel Operations Manager to ensure all supplier information is accurate, up to date and shared with appropriate team members.
With the Senior Travel Operations Manager, ensure that all feedback from clients and Travel Specialists is taken onboard and fed back to suppliers and action is taken to remove/ replace suppliers as appropriate. Additionally, ensure annual reviews are undertaken with key suppliers and filed appropriately.
Responsible for managing, developing and prioritising the workload of your Operations Assistant
Ensuring all our in-house systems are kept up to date with accurate information and statuses for each trip including Peak 15 and Monday and Excel.
Scanning, printing, and virtual filing of various documents
Any other duties deemed appropriate for the role
To be on call as part of an agreed duty rota to cover out of hours and weekends when our clients are travelling (additional payment).
