Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Associate will be a key member of the Finance Team, ensuring payments are made and receipts are allocated, reconciling bank statements, as well as reporting on the actual cash position and helping with cash forecasts.

Daily upload of bank statements into APRO
Cash allocation within the finance system, producing appropriate reconciliations
Maintaining the AP & AR cash books to support cash flow forecasting
Monitoring of actual cash position vs the forecast to measure forecast accuracy and implementing improvements to drive greater accuracy.
Updating cash forecast model with latest rolling forecast provided from the wider business
Support in payment administration, seeking relevant approvals in accordance with the Scheme of Delegation as necessary
Completion of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
Providing support to the Treasury Manager and wider finance team as required
Supporting Treasury Manager and wider business with ad hoc cash and banking related project work
Maintain effective working relationships with the bank
Develop and maintain effective relationships both internally with the wider finance team, senior management and key stakeholders as well as externally with project and IT providers.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders at DHSC
Liaising with relevant stakeholders across the business to build robust cash forecasts

Intermediate Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup Formulas)
Experience of cash forecasting.
Experience of working within a finance department
Experience of reporting
Experience managing banking relationships.
Oracle Fusion experience
Qualification or equivalent experience demonstrating proficiency of MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)
Ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation and develop relationships with key external stakeholders
