Treasury Associate - Treasury & Payment Operations EMEA - Witham




We have a great opportunity at MMC for a Treasury Associate to join our Cash Control Payments Team which is part of the Treasury & Payments Operations EMEA Team based in Witham.


The primary responsibility within this role is to perform cashiering duties for the EMEA region, which involves processing payments using specialized banking software to assist both internal and external stakeholders.


This role could suit either an experienced Finance Assistant/Administrator looking for a new challenge or possibly a Graduate looking for their first finance related role within a Global organisation.


This role is predominantly office based in Witham.

We will rely on you to:



To Input, payment instructions for the Marsh Group of Companies on Citibank HSBC Barclays, and Other Banking Platforms, specific software applications. Aim to execute to a high level within agreed timelines and adhering to the Treasury Policies, Marsh procedures and compliance guidelines. Ensure all payments are recorded on the Marsh mainframe systems accurately and to agreed deadlines. Log audit trails from the banking systems and check back to the company's cashbook records To work on Marsh entity Workflows aiding account handlers ensuring SLA 's achieved. Record and log all entries for KPI statistical requirements. Communicating daily with Banks, Account Handlers, Treasury Team, and offshore Colleagues Support the team and work together respecting and valuing other's ideas and initiatives to achieve the departmental goals. Participate in training workshops to keep abreast of all payment related processes and enhancements.

What you need to have:



Good academic background supported by good grades at A-Level and/or GCSE in subjects that include ideally Maths and/or English. Ability to work both independently, managing own workload and within a team. Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills in completing assigned tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Outlook would be an advantage.
