About the Role



Are you a proactive, compassionate, and organised individual looking to make a real impact in patient care? Join our dedicated team as a Triage Coordinator and Administrator, where you'll be at the heart of guiding patients to the right care, at the right time.

As a Triage Coordinator and Administrator, you'll support our clinical triage service by managing incoming patient requests and ensuring they're directed to the most appropriate healthcare service. You'll play a vital role in both administrative duties and in helping patients navigate physical, mental, and social care pathways.

You'll work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT), assist with same-day triage flow, and be a key communicator between patients and clinicians. This role also includes general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities



Be a core user and support the ongoing development of KLINIK, our online triage platform Act as a care navigator, guiding patients through healthcare pathways and services Liaise with clinical teams and attend meetings regarding triage processes Support clinicians by gathering relevant patient history and clarifying information Monitor incoming communication, flag urgent cases, and allocate appointments appropriately Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients via phone and online Ensure safe and effective information handling and uphold strict patient confidentiality Support general practice operations as needed, including administrative and back-office tasks

What We're Looking For



Essential:



Strong communication skills (written and verbal) GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English IT proficiency and willingness to learn new systems Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities A flexible, patient-focused approach with a commitment to confidentiality

Desirable:



Experience in a GP practice or similar setting Knowledge of EMIS and medical terminology Customer care background Experience in triage or patient-facing roles

Pay: 12.70 per hour
