We are offering an interesting opportunity for a skilled and motivated HR professional to lead our high-performing HR team. Joining us at a pivotal moment, you'll play a central role in implementing the Trust's first ever People Strategy--working closely with senior leaders to enhance the employee experience across all areas of the organisation.
Hatton Academies Trust is a thriving multi-academy trust based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, comprising one secondary academy and four primary academies. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive, empathetic HR Manager to shape and deliver transformational HR, with a strong focus on staff development, retention, and wellbeing.
About the Role
You will work closely with the CEO, Directors, and Principals, providing strategic and operational HR support across the Trust. Your role will be central to driving HR modernisation while maintaining our reputation for delivering a responsive, high-quality HR advisory service.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading on employee relations matters including disciplinary, conflict resolution, capability, absence management, redundancy, and restructuring.
Overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle in line with the DfE's "Keeping Children Safe in Education" guidance and Trust policies.
Supporting staff wellbeing initiatives and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Trust.
About You
We're seeking a confident and resilient HR professional who can put the human into human resources. You will have:
Recent, proven experience in delivering effective HR services.
Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A degree-level education and a minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent.

You will work from our Central Services Team offices in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, and initially will be office-based with the possibility of some remote working, subject to satisfactory probationary performance and in agreement with line management.
