The organisation collaborates closely with local volunteers and partners to create a supportive environment for learners and volunteers.

Role Description

This is a part-time role to be part of Trusted Tutor Pool at CP Learning Trust Charity. The role is hybrid, based mainly in and around Peterborough with some work-from-home flexibility. The Trusted Tutor will be responsible for tutoring small/medium groups, preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing personalised support to meet each learner's unique needs. Additional responsibilities include promoting the workshops, venues, working closely with volunteers and partners to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment. We are keen to recruit Trusted Tutors with a wide range of delivery skills from: Arts, Crafts, Heritage, Skills for Life, IT etc We have a range of fixed term funded delivery coming.

Salary range of 24,242 - 32,000 (FTE) dependent on skills and experience

Qualifications

Experience in tutoring, teaching, or educational support Skills in preparing schemes of work lesson plans and assessing student progress Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in using digital tools for remote teaching Experience working with disadvantaged communities is a plus
