Can you help us on our mission?

We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team of tutors! We are looking for a tutor in RH10 Crawley (or based in surrounding areas) for a vacant role that we have. The tutor will be paid 20ph to tutor a student in maths, supporting them with their GCSE preparations. This student has an ASD diagnosis.

ELIGIBILITY:

The tutor must live in Crawley (or surrounding areas),

the right candidate will live no more than 30-35 minutes away

from

RH10 where the students reside.

(REQUIRED) The tutor MUST have experience working with children/young people e.g. could be a tutor, teacher, teaching assistant, youth worker, mentor etc. (REQUIRED) During term time, the tutor must be available for one evening a week for the tutoring sessions (REQUIRED) Must have obtained at least a B or 6 in GCSE maths (REQUIRED) Must be able to access a printer. Although we provide resources for tutoring e.g. activity books etc. tutors are expected to print from time to time in order to perform their role effectively (REQUIRED) Should be educated to degree level (desirable) SEN experience weekday evening (desirable)

Responsibilities:



Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions in students' homes, focusing on their individual learning needs and goals. Build relationships and rapport with students Make sessions fun and interactive Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary. Encourage and motivate students to build confidence in their academic abilities

Pay: 20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 2 per week
