We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team of tutors! We are looking for a STEM tutor based in Reigate (or surrounding areas) for a vacant role that we have in RH2. The tutor will be paid 20ph to tutor a year 11 student in physics and maths.

ELIGIBILITY:

The tutor must live within Reigate (or surrounding areas),

the right candidate will live no more than 30 minutes away

from

RH2 where the students reside.

(REQUIRED) The tutor MUST have experience working with children/young people e.g. could be a tutor, teacher, teaching assistant, youth worker, mentor etc. (REQUIRED) MUST be able to offer weekly tutoring sessions (REQUIRED) Must be able to access a printer. Although we provide resources for tutoring e.g. activity books etc. tutors are expected to print from time to time in order to perform their role effectively (REQUIRED) Should be educated to degree level (desirable)

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 tutoring sessions in students' homes, focusing on their individual learning needs and goals. Build relationships and rapport with students Make sessions fun and interactive Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary. Encourage and motivate students to build confidence in their academic abilities
