We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a passionate and reliable Tutor to join our growing team at the School of Coding & AI. You will support the weekly teaching of young people in Coding, AI and 11+ preparation, delivering high-quality, engaging sessions using pre-designed materials. Your role will be key in helping learners stay motivated, confident and on track with their educational journey, while making a lasting impact through a fresh and modern approach to teaching.

Through both online platforms and our state-of-the-art education centres, we offer tailored tutoring for students preparing for GCSEs and A-levels.
Partnering with three leading universities and over 150 primary and secondary schools nationwide, we deliver dynamic after-school clubs and interactive coding workshops that inspire curiosity and foster technical excellence. WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE
Inspire & Educate:
Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small-group sessions using pre-prepared lesson plans in Coding, AI, 11+, English and Maths.
Differentiate Learning:
Adapt teaching methods to suit varying abilities, learning styles and student needs.
Build Confidence:
Apply creative strategies to address knowledge gaps, support homework and coursework, and boost learner self-esteem.
Promote Inclusion:
Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Track Progress:
Monitor learner development, maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback to support improvement.
Engage Stakeholders:
Communicate regularly with parents, schools and internal staff to share updates and ensure aligned support.
Support Delivery:
Assist with lesson preparation, resources and session admin to ensure smooth and effective delivery.
Safeguard Learners:
Follow all safeguarding, data protection and internal policies to uphold a safe learning environment.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ESSENTIAL
Demonstrated success delivering effective 1:1 and group tutoring sessions.
In-depth subject knowledge of Maths, English, 11+ and Coding.
Experience teaching or supporting school-age learners and young adults.
Proven ability to plan and deliver structured and engaging lessons.
Strong classroom and behaviour management expertise.
Proficient with digital learning platforms including Google Classroom, Zoom and Kahoot.
Familiarity with educational tools such as Python, Scratch and Excel.
Skilled at tailoring content to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
Effective time management and organisational capabilities.
Solid understanding of safeguarding principles and supporting vulnerable learners.
DESIRABLE
Passion for helping young people overcome barriers to education.
Creative, adaptable and culturally aware approach to delivery.
Strong understanding of AI.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Local to Telford &; Wrekin or surrounding areas.
WHAT BACKGROUND DO I NEED TO HAVE
ESSENTIAL
GCSE Maths and English Level at Grade 4/C or above qualification is essential.
Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
DESIRABLE
Computer Science degree or relevant qualification.
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent.
Training in safeguarding, Prevent Duty, First Aid, or Mental Health.
