We're expanding, and we're looking for a UK Sales Lead to join us in the London office.

The Mission:

The UK Sales Lead will oversee and ensure the high performance of the Consignment Team in the UK for the entirety of the auction process. They will develop and implement a coherent and ambitious plan for our largest territory, identifying requirements and co-ordinating activity across multiple teams such as marketing & technology; and to understand, represent and champion the needs of the UK customer (both current and future) within the business.

The Gearbox:

Coach and support the UK Consignment Teams to establish a high performing, operationally efficient team delivering against the business and territory priorities. Training and onboarding of new team members, including inductions to the platform, and development and mentoring of existing talent. Act as the first point of contact for Consignment Specialists queries including answering technical and procedural questions, or directing them to the right people. Developing & implementing a UK territory growth plan, helping to shape the marketing plans and product roadmap to best support the UK market. Actively developing the Collecting Cars community and brand awareness, ensuring we are top of mind with active and future collectors and enthusiasts. Pro-actively champion the UK current and prospective customer, Identifying new opportunities and understanding the market and competitive environment. Regularly reporting on UK performance to the leadership team. Own & develop consignment team best practice for Collecting Cars UK, ensuring that best practice is exported and implemented across other consignment teams globally. Providing advice and guidance to Consignment Specialists on valuations and assessing whether cars are suitable for our platform. Managing capacity within the team when enquiry numbers increase. Research on competitors' pricing and market success. Monitoring cars advertised on other platforms, and sending these through to Consignment staff to make outbound calls. Reviewing of key metrics; monthly reviews with each team member. Quality control of auctions, reserves, and suitability. Salesforce process management & compliance. Assist with any market-building activities such as hosting events and outreach to new customers and dealers

The Specs (What We'll Need From You)

Outstanding organisational and leadership skills, with experience of training and supervising new staff both face to face and remotely. Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively. Keen interest in cars of all genres and eras. Excellent knowledge and experience of how the collector car market operates. Have a deep and broad understanding of and experience in all aspects of the life cycle of sourcing, brokering and selling classic and collectable cars. Impeccable communication skills with the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively. Adept at negotiating terms of sale with customers. Strong business development skills. Experience of working within a fast-paced rapidly growing business. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Pit Stop:

Parsons Green, London. You'll be predominantly based here, our London HQ. You'll need full UK working rights for this position.
