We are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Assistant to join our established and experienced Underwriting team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.

Your Role



Your role will be to support the Assistant Underwriters, Underwriters and Senior Underwriters across a portfolio of accounts.



You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining workbooks and electronic files for allocated accounts and support the review of these accounts following agreed processes. You will establish an effective relationship with Client Services and Account Management colleagues and other internal stakeholders.



You will be providing administrative support to the underwriting colleagues such as data inputting and other admin tasks.

About You



To be successful in your role you will ideally have experience as a people leader, with excellent analytical and numerical skills. We could also consider you if you have a commercial underwriting background and looking to take the step into leadership. You will be highly supportive, engaging and motivational and be able to lead indirectly, virtually and via others. You will have skills such as resilience, inclusion, tenacity and balance.



You will have a positive approach and have a solutions-oriented mindset.
