Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong clinical leadership and daily management to the unit, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, person-centred elderly care*.
Act as a clinical lead, mentoring and supervising a team of staff nursesand care assistants, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Take responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for all residents on the unit.
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.
Manage medication rounds*, complex wound care, and other clinical interventions to a high standard.
Work collaboratively with the Home Manager, Deputy Manager*, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
effectively manage resources, staff rostering, and contribute to the financial performance of the unit.
Champion the safeguarding and dignity of all residents.
What We Are Looking For (Essential Requirements):
A valid NMC PIN as a Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)*.
A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience within a UK nursing home or care homesetting.
Proven experience in a leadership role (e.g., Senior Staff Nurse, Clinical Deputy Manager, Unit Lead, Deputy Manager*).
Strong clinical skills with excellent knowledge of elderly care*, chronic disease management, and CQC standards.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
