JOB SUMMARY

Staffordshire Specialist Care Centre are seeking experienced and compassionate Unit Managers (day & night shifts available) to oversea the daily operations of our care facility. The idea candidate will have a strong background in care management, particularly within care homes. To ensure continuity of care to our residents by promoting and delivering high standards of care, individually and safely and supporting, demonstrating and instructing less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a managerial/leadership role within a care home or similar setting is essential. Strong understanding of dementia care practices and the specific needs of residents with cognitive impairments. Registered Nurse (RN) qualification is desirable but not essential; relevant experience in nursing or caregiving is required. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
