Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to our residents. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing staff, and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement personalised care plans that meet the needs of each resident. Oversee daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and quality standards. Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care delivery. Administer medications as required and maintain accurate records of medication administration. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in senior care. Engage with residents and their families to ensure satisfaction with the services provided. Maintain effective communication with external stakeholders, including health professionals and regulatory bodies.

Skills



Proven experience in managing a care home or nursing home environment. Strong understanding of care plans and medication administration protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Exceptional organisational skills, with attention to detail in all aspects of care delivery. Compassionate approach to senior care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards residents' needs. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing challenges effectively as they arise.
