Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Unit Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our General Nursing and Dementia Nursing units. This role requires strong leadership, excellent clinical knowledge, and hands-on experience in dementia care, including supporting residents with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the smooth running of both the

General Nursing

and

Dementia Nursing

units. Ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding are delivered at all times. Provide guidance and support to the nursing and care team. Work closely with residents, families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Maintain compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements. Support with staff training, mentoring, and performance development.

Requirements

Preferably a

Registered General Nurse (RGN)

with valid NMC registration. Strong background in

dementia care

and experience supporting residents with complex needs. Previous leadership or management experience in a care home or healthcare setting. Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills.
