Job Summary



We're seeking a motivated, hands-on Upholsterer to join our workshop manufacturing team on a temp-perm / permanent basis. No previous upholstery experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will learn how to prepare materials, safely use upholstery tools, and produce high-end contract upholstery for pubs, restaurants, and other commercial environments to an exceptional standard. With strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn, you'll contribute to every stage of the process--from initial preparation through to final finish--while helping maintain an organised, efficient, and professional workshop environment. Responsibilities



Working efficiently and independently as part of a team. Conduct fabrication tasks involving cutting, shaping, and joining materials Assist senior upholsterers with on-site work (country wide) Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently within the workspace Perform lifting and manual handling of materials and products Maintain organisation of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency Assist with quality control checks throughout the production process Follow safety protocols at all times to minimise risks in the workplace Support workshop operations including stock organisation and inventory management

Requirements



Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Experience with sewing or fabric-related tasks is an advantage Prior experience and knowledge in upholstery work is beneficial Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Willingness to learn and follow instructions Basic knowledge of tools (training provided) Pride in workmanship

Job Types: Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
