Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and an eye for detail, responsible for creating and restoring upholstered sofas, chairs and footstools. This role involves working with various materials and techniques to fabricate, assemble, and finish high-quality upholstery products.

Responsibilities

Upholstering Sofas Chairs and Footstools Using Materials including Leather / Fabric and foam The ability to use both modern and traditional upholstery techniques including deep buttoning Read and understand dimensions and measurements Produce a high-quality finish Be able to meet timescales A strong upholstery background with a keen eye to detail. Be flexible in their approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Demonstrate reliability and be able to work as part of a team. Committed to achieving the targets of the department whilst working safely and in full compliance with the health and safety requirements of the department

Requirements

A strong upholstery background with a keen eye to detail. Be flexible in their approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills as needed.
