Position: Upholsterer

Location: High Wycombe

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Overview:

We are recruiting for a skilled Upholsterer on behalf of a well-established furniture factory based in High Wycombe. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in upholstery, particularly in assembling and finishing soft furnishings such as cushions, frames, and complete furniture pieces.

You'll work closely with the production team in a busy, factory-based environment, contributing to high-quality output in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

? Assemble and upholster furniture components using hand tools, staplers, and industrial equipment

? Apply fabrics, foams, and coverings with precision, including piped edges, top stitching, and cushion work

? Perform quality checks on stitching, alignment, and overall finish to meet production standards

? Support efficient workflow by meeting daily targets and collaborating with the team

? Maintain a clean and safe workspace while adhering to health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

? Minimum 3 years' experience in upholstery within a factory or furniture manufacturing setting (essential)

? Strong proficiency in upholstery techniques, including fabric cutting, stapling, and sewing where required

? Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

? Must be able to commute to the High Wycombe area and work in-person
