Duties

Utilise hand tools and power tools to assemble, repair, and maintain equipment and structures Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs or modifications Operate sewing machines and fabric fabrication tools for customised projects or repairs Assist with fabricating components using specialised equipment and techniques Conduct heavy lifting as required to move materials or equipment safely and efficiently Support warehouse operations by organising materials, preparing items for shipment, or inventory management Follow safety procedures diligently during all tasks to ensure a secure working environment Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

Experience

Previous experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing environments is preferred Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and fabrication equipment is advantageous Experience with assembly processes or mechanical repairs will be highly regarded Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively is essential Familiarity with warehouse logistics or inventory management systems is a plus Practical knowledge of fabricating components or working with various materials will be beneficial
