About the Role:
A well-established furniture manufacturing factory based in Hull, currently expanding production and looking for skilled and experienced Upholsterers to join their busy team. This is a hands-on factory role offering an excellent hourly rate, regular overtime opportunities, and a stable long-term position with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
? Cut, fit, and sew fabrics and coverings to a high standard
? Upholster furniture including sofas, chairs, headboards, and other items
? Work from drawings/patterns and follow production schedules
? Deep-buttoning, stitching, and finishing work where required
? Inspect finished items to ensure they meet quality standards
? Maintain a clean and organised workstation
? Follow all health and safety guidelines in the factory environment
Essential Skills & Experience:
? Proven experience as an Upholsterer in a factory or workshop setting
? Strong knowledge of traditional and modern upholstery techniques
? Ability to read technical drawings and work to targets
? Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
? Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
? Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a fast-paced team
