Responsibilities:
- Upholster and reupholster furniture pieces according to specifications and customer requests
- Use hand tools and power tools to attach new materials
- Assemble furniture components and ensure proper alignment and fit
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to understand furniture construction and assembly processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, staple guns, scissors, and sewing machines
- Ability to fabricate and manipulate fabric or leather materials to achieve desired results
- Familiarity with power tools for attaching new materials
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to lift heavy furniture pieces and materials as needed
