Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Upholstery Sewing Machinist to join our team in Treorchy, Wales. We are looking for either a full time Machinist or part time (can be flexible on hours).

Who we are:

At RG42 we have a great team which has grown over the last couple of years. We manufacture a range of quality, handmade rise and recline armchairs and complimentary sofas to match.

You will be joining a small supportive team of Sewing Machinists who will train you on our current range.

You'll be based on site in Tonypandy, Wales where we offer on-site parking, flexible holidays, and a great working pattern which includes a lunch time finish on Fridays!

What you'll be doing:

You'll be working to a spec sheet for each job and selecting the correct colour cotton and zip to match the job.

Sewing Machinist experience within upholstery sewing is essential; however, training will be provided for you to successfully deliver our range of products.

You'll need to be self-motivated, have great attention to detail and good time management.

What we offer:

The starting wage of 28,800 p/a (pro-rated if part time) will be for the first six months, this will increase if the hired candidate is successful and reaches our required sewing quality and capacity targets.

Work Pattern:

We are looking for a full time or part time Sewing Machinist to join us.

Full time hours

7.30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 13:00 on Friday

Part time hours can be flexible.
