Norco Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team and work as
UPS Field Service Engineer within our business on a full time, permanent basis. The post holder will be required to work both onshore and offshore as determined by the company and required to be available for work 160 days (1920 hours) per annum.

Roles and Responsibilities



The main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Onshore

Conductance / Internal Resistance / Discharge testing of battery systems Routine maintenance of UPS systems including aged/obsolete equipment UPS installation & Commissioning UPS Fault call / Breakdown response Compilation of reports Recommendations on asset replacement / additional preventative maintenance required
Offshore

Commissioning and maintenance of industrial battery and UPS systems UPS installation & Commissioning UPS Fault call / Breakdown response Compilation of reports Recommendations on asset replacement / additional preventative maintenance required The position is anticipated to involve a significant amount of travel including overnight stopovers
This post will involve the supervision of trainee engineers.

QHSE Responsibilities



All employees are expected to :-

To comply with Norco Group and Client, Quality, Safety and Environmental management systems and procedures at all times.

Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses and hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is completed.

Skills & Qualifications



The post holder should be qualified to HNC level or equivalent, or be qualified as an approved electrician. Offshore experience, UPS Product training and familiarity with the BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations would be advantageous but training on products and testing equipment will be provided by Norco.
