WHAT TO EXPECT

This role aims to enhance the customer experience through target setting, benchmarking, assessment and sign off of customer attributes and features for JLR vehicles

Representing the customer, this role needs to deliver a high standard of subjective assessment skills across a range of attributes and system interactions. Utilising benchmarking and our Brand DNA to ensure our features are delivering the overall UX to the highest standards and expectation.

As part of human centred design, the role will include collaborative work with the UX and behavioural research team to ensure, thorough benchmarking and an understanding of human centred design, that our experiences are designed and delivered with the customer at the heart.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Deliver UX VET Feature reports against major gateways for all new and mid-cycle fresh (MCF) programmes
  • Competitor knowledge and benchmarking kept up to date and used as reference during assessments
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Lead UX Evaluation assessments for assigned programmes
  • Interface with Vehicle engineering, system Integration teams and feature leads to ensure robust feature assessments
  • Reporting against gateways on feature status for assigned programmes
  • Preparation and presentation of results to senior forums and showcases
  • Attribute team guidance to develop and tune key attributes/features
  • Conduct benchmarking regularly to ensure knowledge of features and support to maintain JLR competitive standing
  • Work with UX Research and Behavioural Research areas of the team to ensure understanding of the human centred design process

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:
  • An individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and makes people feel special, driven to deliver experiences that are personalised, transparent and dependable.
  • A good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • An individual who is highly self-motivated, has good personal management skills (having experience of handling and prioritising multiple tasks) and be comfortable coordinating the activities of others.
  • A background in attribute feature development/delivery and/or vehicle assessments
  • Excellent Reporting skills / PowerPoint presentations
  • Flexible in terms of working hours, able to support night drives, willingness to travel between JLR sites
  • Full, clean UK/EU Driving licence
