Job Introduction

Igne are seeking a

UXO/EOD Engineer

to join the team based in

Gillingham, Kent

. The Engineer will conduct unexploded ordnance magnetometry surveys, for a variety of projects, including construction, infrastructure, and land development. This is a full-time role, with

travel across the UK

as required. Ideally you will be based in the

South of England.

Key Responsibilities:



You will support the safe and effective delivery of UXO risk mitigation works on a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects. Application of UXO mitigation and support works Application of UXO risk reduction techniques (where qualified) Preparation of RAMS, task briefings and site documentation Liaison with clients, contractors and project teams Mentoring and supporting junior team members

Person Specification:



Recognised EOD / Search qualification (military or civilian equivalent) Experience on UK UXO projects Strong Understanding of HSE guidance and industry best practise CSCS card (or ability to obtain one) Full UK Driving License Strong communication and safety-first mindset
