Job Summary

Due to the expansion & awards of contracts, Aquajet are looking for an experienced Vactor/ Tanker Drainage Operative to become a part of our busy team.

Experience in a construction role would be an advantage.

You will be required to work on & carry out various duties related to the Vactor operations. Interceptor & Septic Tank Emptying & Cleaning. Working alongside our CCTV Engineer assisting with the cleaning & surveys of all types of drainage established & new systems.

You may be required to work overtime as part of the working week & occasional weekend work. Good time keeping & enthusiasm is essential. We operate regular performance reviews & assist in any development that may be required.

HGV Driving License is essential.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri 07:30 - 16:30 (42.5 Hours)

Overtime is paid at Time & a Half.

Uniform & PPE are provided.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid HGV licence. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a Jet-Vac driver is highly desirable. Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report vehicle issues promptly. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
