We support our clients with device repair, prestaging, logistics, and sustainable asset recovery. We are looking for a motivated Asset Recovery Field Operative to join our growing team.

The Role

This is a hands-on, field-based position where you'll work as part of a team to collect and transport telecoms and IT equipment from client sites across the UK.

Most recoveries will be "lift-and-shift", meaning you'll be collecting equipment that has already been decommissioned by another engineer, securely labelling and transporting it back to Tesora facilities.

However, as client requirements evolve, we are increasingly being asked to carry out basic decommissioning on-site. For these situations, full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and support more technical recovery projects in future.

You will also assist with auditing assets on their return to Tesora facilities, helping to keep accurate records of recovered equipment. If there are periods where no asset recoveries are booked in, you'll be supporting the warehouse/logistics team.

Key Responsibilities

Driving to client sites across the UK to collect and transport telecoms and IT equipment as part of a recovery team. Lift, move, and securely load equipment for return to Tesora facilities. Accurately label and record assets during recovery to maintain chain-of-custody. Support the warehouse team by auditing and recording returned assets, ensuring accurate details of serial numbers and equipment types. Follow site-specific processes, adhering to health and safety requirements at all times. Represent Tesora professionally on client sites, demonstrating our values of being approachable, can-do, knowledgeable, and quality-driven. Be willing to undertake training to carry out basic decommissioning as future projects require.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record. Experience driving a van and confident navigating across the UK. Ability to work independently and use initiative. Strong attention to detail and care in handling equipment. Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks. Reliable, trustworthy, and a good team player. Flexible attitude to support different tasks within the business as needed. Willingness to travel and occasionally work flexible hours depending on job locations. Previous experience of long distance driving in a field-based, engineering, or logistics role is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.

Salary:

25,500 - 30,000 per year

, depending on experience.
Additional allowances or overtime will be available depending on travel and job demands.
