Duties:
Safely operate our company van to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
Load and unload cargo from the van.
Plan your delivery route, to provide our customers with their goods in a timely and accurate fashion.
Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts, are completed accurately.
Inspect the van for any mechanical issues or damage before and after each trip.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the van.
The ability to adapt and respond to urgent customer delivery requirements during the day.
You will be required to assist with some ad-hoc warehouse duties when you are not delivering to customer premises. This may include goods inwards, putting stock away, picking, checking and packing orders etc. In some instances, supporting the internal team may also be required. You will also support the preparation and completion of the yearly stocktake.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role (preferred).
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Maintaining the company image whilst in the branded vehicle, with excellent driving etiquette.
Familiarity with warehouse work would be advantageous (not essential).
Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and documentation.
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, co-workers, and customers.
Important:
In the event of being invited to an interview, a GIA and PPA assessment will also need to be completed. This should take no more than an additional 30 minutes.

Working hours between 07.30 and 16.30 Monday to Friday.
