Van Driver/warehouse Operative

Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Van driver to join the team to complete a range of deliveries and occasionally support the wider Operations Team.
Main responsibilities and duties
1. Loading the vehicle in an order that matches the deliveries you'll make
2. Planning the route
3. Greeting customers, getting signatures and giving delivery notes when you deliver
4. Collecting goods from a depot, warehouse or pick-up point for customer returns and samples
5. Ensuring communication with the Transport Office in case of any delays or issues
7. Daily vehicle checks
8. Fuelling of vehicle with fuel card and recording of this with receipts
9. Returning undelivered items when necessary
10. Occasional support of the wider Operations Team as deemed necessary by the Transport Manager and Operations Manager
Required knowledge and skills we are looking for
Excellent practical driving skills The ability to work quickly and to tight deadlines Lifting and carrying skills The ability to complete record sheets and paperwork Good personal manner and verbal communication with internal employees and customers Good English and maths skills A good driving record and the correct licence
Full training will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
