Boningale Limited, part of the Plant Market Group, is focused on servicing the commercial landscaping and garden design marketplace through its two brands Boningale Nurseries and Viridis Plants.

UK production is at the forefront of its plans utilising its newly acquired Scottish nursery Melville, which is producing peat free trees and its Boningale and Codsall production facilities which are focused on shrubs and specimens, all supported by an impressive supply chain network of circa 400 growers from the UK and Europe.

We have an opportunity available for a Van Driver/Yard Operative to join our small and friendly team based in Albrighton, on the border of Wolverhampton. You will predominantly be loading and unloading vehicles, picking and moving stock in our Despatch area. When required you will be delivering trees and shrubs to our customers throughout the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Despatch team and customers with loading and unloading of vehicles whilst providing a high quality friendly service to our customers. Picking and packing a variety of plants, shrubs and trees for orders. You would also be responsible for making timely deliveries on your pre planned route nationwide. Undertake any other duties commensurate with this role.

Attributes Required:

Ability to work alone as well as in a team. Possess good communication skills. Have good attention to detail. Able to lift items of varying weights and size. You will be organised and efficient with ability to work on own initiative. Possess a Full UK Manual Driving License.

Working Hours:

39 hours per week, worked between; 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am - 4.00 pm Friday. Early starts may be required when driving. Overtime is available when required and is paid at time and a half. No weekend work is required.

Salary:

Salary is paid at National Minimum Wage.
