Overview

We are seeking a motivated and personable Salesperson to join our dynamic team to help develop our Agricultural, plant and commercial customer base. The role covers commercial and Agri whilst also specialising in Welding and Gas sales. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their experience with our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong desire to achieve sales targets. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable sales expertise within a supportive environment.

Duties

Cover all depots inclding Arbroath, Cupar, Dundee, Forfar, Glenrothes, Montrose and Perth, visiting customers to help develop our business. Present and demonstrate products or services effectively to prospective clients Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team objectives Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities Assist in organising promotional events or campaigns to attract new customers Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales or customer service roles is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team A positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning about new products and services Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with CRM systems or similar software is desirable
