Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer - 55663

If you have an engineering background and project and people management skills and are seeking a new contract in Basildon, we want to hear from you. Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer, and the role comes with an umbrella contract rate of \xc2\xa322.87/hr, increasing to \xc2\xa335.65/hr after 12 weeks (Inside IR35).

As a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles. You will be working three days on-site, with possible travel to Europe.

In your first few weeks in this Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Manage dimensions, mass balance, occupant positions and accommodation, mechanical arrangement, geometrical compatibility, etc.
• Manage projects
• Present solutions with clarity

To apply for this Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer role, you will need excellent project and people management skills, with the ability to resolve issues.

You will also require the following:

• Degree in Engineering discipline
• Delivery of vehicle programs
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
• Ability to interface with senior management
• The ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity
• Knowledge of PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools (desirable)
