Job Description

Highfield Garage and Recovery Ltd are seeking to employee two drivers to operate their to operate one of the companies slide bed recovery vehicles, to re-deliver customer vehicles to their destination throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will need to hold a Class 1 HGV licence with current CPC and Digital Tacho Card, will be required to work on a four day on and four day off rota on a twelve hour per shift basis, and it will require occasional overnight stays for which accommodation will be provided.

The driver will have responsibility for loading and unloading of the vehicle.

The salary commences at 15 per hour with a 25 overnight allowance payable for those nights spent away.

On days when the driver does not stay out overnight the twelve hour shift pattern attracts a 10 per shift tax free meal allowance as an alternative.

The location for this vacancy is Exeter where there is on site parking available.

There is an entitlement of 28 days per year annual leave which includes Bank Holidays.

All uniform and training provided.
