Role:?Vehicle Recovery Driver / Technician

14.20 per hour basic, enhanced rate for overtime

Shift Pattern:?4 days on, 4 days off

Location:?Base will be Askam in Furness LA16

Furness Cars and Commercials Limited are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Recovery Driver / Technician. As a Vehicle Recovery Driver / Technician, you will be working in a fast paced environment, facilitating the rescue and recovery of our customer vehicles at the roadside in the South Lakes and Furness Peninsula.

Responsibilities

Operate recovery vehicles to assist stranded motorists, ensuring safe transport of vehicles. Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and providing updates on recovery status. Maintain accurate records of vehicle recovery and delivery activities. Assist with keeping vehicles and sites clean and tidy Adhere to all safety regulations and licensing requirements, including holding a valid Category CE or C Licence.

What do we require from you:

Full valid driving license with Cat C (Class 2) or Cat C+E (Class 1) Current Driver CPC Ability to pass Local Police Vetting Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements. To confidently use a mobile phone / PDA device. Excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with customers in difficult circumstances. Flexible approach to working hours, role and working environment. Ability to work well under pressure.
